HERTRAZ Trastuzumab 440mg is one of a group of cancer drugs called monoclonal antibodies. Monoclonal antibodies are sometimes called targeted therapies because they work by ‘targeting’ specific proteins (receptors) on the surface of cells. Some cancers have too much of a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) on the surface of their cells. These are called HER2-positive cancers. The extra HER2 receptors stimulate the cancer cells to divide and grow. Trastuzumab locks on to the HER2 protein and blocks the receptor. This stops the cells from dividing and growing.

SIDE-EFFECTS OF HERTRAZ TRASTUZUMAB 440MG INJECTION

Some side effects may occur during the injection. Speak your doctor right away if you feel dizzy, nauseated, light-headed, weak, short of breath, or if you have a headache, fever, chills, sudden chest pain, wheezing, dry cough, hives, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Call your doctor at once if you have: shortness of breath (even with mild exertion or while lying down); rapid or shallow breathing, grunting, gasping for breath, pain when you breathe; blue-colored skin or lips; sudden chest pain or discomfort, wheezing, new or worsening cough; pounding heartbeats or fluttering

Hodpro 50 Mg Capsule is a medication for anti-cancer chemotherapy that falls under the category of
drugs known as alkalyting agent. It is used to treat Hodgkin’s diseases, non
Hodgkin’s lymphoma, melanoma, brain tumors, multiple
myeloma and lung cancers. It works by restricting synthesis of protein,
DNA and RNA which in turn stops or slows down the growth

DRUGS PRECAUTIONS:

Take this medicine in the
dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not
chew, crush or break it. Hodpro 50 mg Capsule may be taken with or without
food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Hodpro 50 mg Capsule with tyramine-rich food such as
cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Procarbazine belongs to a
group of medicines called antineoplastic alkylating agents. It works by
inhibiting protein, RNA, and DNA synthesis, which helps to stop the growth of
cancer cells in the body.

DRUGS INTERACTIONS:

Inform your doctor if you are suffering from severe
hepatic or kidney disease, any disorder of the heart or circulation, have a
tumor on the adrenal gland, causing high blood pressure, epilepsy (fits) or had
stroke.

Inform your doctor if you have severe leucopenia or
thrombocytopenia from any cause.

Take precautions as Procarbazine may lower the ability of
your body to fight infections making you susceptible to infections.

Do not drive or operate machinery as Procarbazine may
cause drowsiness.

You may need to regularly check and monitor blood counts
due to the possibility of bone-marrow suppression with Procarbazine
therapy. 

Do not take any live vaccines during or within at least 6
months of treatment with Procarbazine.
