WHAT IS VALSTED TABLETS?

Valstead 450 mg Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.

USES OF VALSTED TABLETS:

Valstead Tablet is used for Cytomegalovirus infection, Retinitis and other conditions. Valstead Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Valstead Tablet contains Valganciclovir as an active ingredient.

Valstead Tablet works by preventing the growth and spread of cytomegalovirus.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

The most possible reported side-effects of Valstead Tablet are back pain, dizziness, chills, loss of appetite, indigestion, and muscle spasms.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:

The following is a list of possible side effects that may occur from the use of Valstead Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious.

Side Effects of Valstead are Injection site pain, Stomach pain.

DRUGS PRECAUTIONS:

Before using Valstead Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.

Do not drive or operate machinery.

Do not start the treatment until neutrophil count is 500 cells/l, platelet count 25000/l, or hemoglobin level 8g/dl.

Monitor complete blood counts and platelet counts tests at regular intervals during treatment.

DRUGS INTERACTIONS:

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Valstead Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Valstead Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

Adalimumab

Certolizumab Cimzia

Clopine

Clozapine

Clozaril

Combivir

Deferiprone

Etanercept

What are Velpacruz S Tablets?

Velpacruz S 400mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two antiviral medicines: Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir. They work by lowering the amount of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time.

USES OF VELPACRUZ TABLETS:

Velpacruz S 400mg/100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:

If your doctor has prescribed this drug, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.

Constipation, diarrhea, or upset stomach may occur. These effects are usually temporary and may disappear as your body adjusts to this medication. If any of these effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

DRUGS PRECAUTIONS:

Before taking this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to any of its ingredients; or to soy/peanut found in some brands; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: use/abuse of alcohol, liver problems, stomach/intestinal problems (e.g., ulcer, colitis).

If your brand of multivitamin also contains folic acid, be sure to tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have vitamin B12 deficiency (pernicious anemia) before taking it. Folic acid may affect certain laboratory tests for vitamin B12 deficiency without treating this anemia. 

DRUGS INTERACTIONS:

Drug interactions may change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects. This document does not contain all possible drug interactions. If your brand of multivitamin also contains iron, avoid taking this product at the same time as antacids, bisphosphonates (for example, alendronate), levodopa, thyroid medications (for example, levothyroxine), or some antibiotics (for example, tetracyclines, quinolones such as ciprofloxacin). Ask your doctor or pharmacist about how long you should wait between doses and for help finding a dosing schedule that will work with all your medications.
